The Tide View Hotel lives up to its name - direct views to the bay of By-The-Sea. Whether you want to soak up the
glorious summer sunshine or like to watch the spirited sea crashing over the rocks in winter, you can be assured of
comfort and relaxation.
Our award winning restaurant has food for every taste and budget. Ingredients are sourced locally and organic
where possible. Fresh and seasonal is the key to quality! Our restaurant is open all day for bar snacks and
is open to non-residents too.
Each guest room has tea-making facilities, satellite television, dvd player, telephone, free internet access, hair dryer
and the en-suite comes with both a bath and a shower and complimentary toiletries. We have a laundry room for
guests' use or an in-house overnight washing service.

By-The-Sea is small enough to be friendly but big enough to have the facilities you want for a break. Locally
you will find sea fishing and seal-watching boat trips and within a short drive there is a theatre, leisure centre,
outlet shopping village, horse riding and a national park with its forested mountains.

There are some basics that can't be left out of an Hotel's website - does anybody book an hotel room anymore without
visiting its website first? Guests like to know what your hotel offers, so let them know all about yourself.
Here are our suggestions of what should be included:
Introduce yourselves!
Contact details - phone, address and email.
A brief description of your hotel, including number of bedrooms.
Cancellation policy.
A contact form for those not on email.
Up to date prices, including special offers.
Photographs of bedrooms, bathrooms and dining room.
Photographs of the outside of your hotel and views of surrounding places.
Eating options - a sample menu and opening times.
Show any awards your hotel holds - not just for tourism but for your restaurant too.
Facilities - en-suite, tv, internet access, baby listening service etc.
Local attractions - theatre, parks, shopping, historic places.
If you have entertainment.
Parking arrangements.
Payment methods, eg credit cards.
Directions by road and rail including a link to a map website.
Whether dogs are permitted.
Do you have a garden for guests' use?
Do you have a gymnasium and/or swimming pool?
The list is almost endless but anything that is a 'plus' compared to other hotels should be included!
